A national forum for working youth opened in Minsk today. More than 300 young professionals and employees from all regions of the country have gathered in Minsk to exchange best practices, discuss current issues regarding state youth policy, and explore the innovative potential of the nation’s leading enterprises.
The forum is organized by the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Education, and the Belarusian Republican Youth Union.
The event’s packed agenda began with visits to flagship companies in the domestic industrial and high-tech sectors. Delegations from every region and the city of Minsk toured the Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant (MZKT), the Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ), the Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ), the V.I. Kozlov Minsk Electrotechnical Plant, the Kommunarka confectionery company, the High Tech Park, and the Planar enterprise.
During these visits, participants gained insight into advanced labor organization practices, innovative developments, and successful approaches to implementing youth policy at the capital’s major enterprises.
The highlight of the first day will be a plenary session held in the Oval Hall of the Government House. During this session, participants will discuss key areas for supporting working youth and outline new directions for future cooperation.
The forum serves to strengthen the dialogue between young professionals and government institutions, while also enhancing the prestige of blue-collar and engineering professions in Belarus.
