Currently, qualifications are taking place. Sticking with a tradition, the winners will ride a “Memory Train”. It’s a cultural and educational project and this year it is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory.
Every year the guys do their best in making art works. For example, they write an essay on civil-patriotic theme and do a portfolio. The finalists will be announced in a week, 1-2 April.
Currently, various events and challenges take place in Belarus. Youngsters share their impressions and address their wishes to participants of the project.
Memory train will set off 21 June and arrive back on 5 July. Young patriots will visit 15 cities as part of their itinerary. Seven Russian and eight Belarussian cities respectively. Brest Fortress is the first stop.
Interesting fact, teachers compete for the ride as well. Teachers will serve as group leaders and their preliminary competition is “We honor the victory; we remember the heroes”.
