June 5, Minsk hosts the biggest event in the field of information and communication technologies. More than 260 enterprises from 15 countries joined TIBO to share their best practices. This year the list of participants has various scientific-research institutions, educational ones, private and state companies, professional and business associations as well as international organizations and diplomatic missions. For 30 years of its service, TIBO gathered about 300 enterprises-exhibitors, 56 000 visitors, 16 industrial and national stands.
Minsk Arena will host the Digital Economy Forum, the Eurasian Digital Forum, the Belarusian ICT Summit, the Era of Artificial Intelligence discussion, the Festival of Digital Technologies, and the youth forum We are the Future of Digital Belarus. The program will also include the TIBO Internet Award and TIBO Internet Marketing awards ceremonies, and also the International Scratch Olympiad on creative programming among schoolchildren.
As part of the Digital Technologies Festival, the opening of the educational project “Lessons in Digital” will take place. Schoolchildren will be able to learn more about trends from companies such as Yandex, Kaspersky Lab, 1C, Rosatom.
BSU will present more than 20 innovative developments. The showcase for visitors includes modern software and hardware stands for studying programming technologies and teaching materials for controlling robotic devices. Among the exhibits at the stands are radio-controlled equipment, namely the educational robotic constructor “RoboCake”, a quadruped of the Go series of the second generation Робопес Unitree Robotics Go2.
BSUIR presents an exhibition of three thematic sections. Thus, “IT solutions for the industry” show effective solutions for education and automotive electronics. “Youth in Science” - developments of the university and Minsk Radio Engineering College. The “Education for Everyone” section includes programs and IT courses for schoolchildren, students and certified specialists.
The State Committee for Science and Technology demonstrates its innovative infrastructure. Visitors will see with the developments of technology parks and organizations.
The National Children's Technopark introduces educational areas, work with gifted youth, conditions for selecting students to study at the institution, and the “Scientific Weekend for Families with Children” program. Within the framework of the forum, the final stage of #GameJam will take place, where team game development and an eSports tournament will take place.
On the final day of TIBO-2024, June 8, the results of competitions will be summed up, including the Internet Award, Internet Marketing, and the International Scratch Olympiad in Creative Programming for Children and Youth.
