The family has always been one of the most important values of human life. It is in the family circle that children find support, warmth, comfort and tranquility.
Today, in the capital’s shopping center “Palazzo”, as part of the social project “Mobile Photo Exhibition”, the grand opening of the photo exhibition “Miracles Happen” took place.
The organizer of the social project is the National Center of Admission with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, the International Public Organization “SOS Children's Villages”, the editorial office of the newspaper “Domoy!”.
The key aspect of the project is socio-psychological support for foster families, spreading among the population of the idea of placing orphans and children without parental care, including those with special psychophysical development, into families.
Thirteen foster families raising children with special needs from each region of the country took part in the photo sessions. Families were selected in collaboration with the main education departments of the regional executive committees and the education committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee.
According to information from the director of the National Center of Admission, Tatyana Belevich, all the heroes of collective photographic portraits have their own individual history, their own traditions set out in the form of an essay. During the photo exhibition it will be possible to familiarize yourself with them through brochures, as well as QR codes placed in those brochures.
“We open the new year with a photo exhibition and hope for significant achievements, the implementation of innovations, the introduction of promising technologies to improve the quality of life of children who find themselves in difficult life situations,” Tatyana Belevich said at the opening of the photo exhibition.
Each foster family has its own family traditions, daily routine, but all families have a common feature - they are home to foster parents, people with big hearts who immensely give great love and warmth to children, helping children to become strong and worthy citizens of the country.
Support in organizing the project and the photo exhibition itself is provided to the National Center of Admission by the National Children's Technopark, the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts, and the Education Department of the Pervomaisky District Administration of Minsk.
The photo exhibition will end on January 25.
