Minsk, 7 July. Soon Minsk will serve as the center of the patriotic movement. From July 9 to 10 it will host the final of the republican review-competition of military-patriotic associations, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

From April to June, young patriots from every Belarusian hub have been doing their best to make it to the finale. In the end, more than 120 students eventually reached the desired stage and will gather to demonstrate their achievements and prove that the memory of the heroic past is alive.

Participants will plunge into two-day event from the very beginning.

On July 9, a civil-patriotic rally will take place near the mass grave of Soviet prisoners of war, partisans and civilians (location. 9th kilometer). Then - an educational excursion program with a visit to the open exhibition space of military equipment on the territory of the Military Academy of the Republic of Belarus. Participants will also attend the drill review “We are bequeathed to protect this world”, the conference “We honor the Victory, we remember the heroes” and the expert competition “80 pages of the history of the Great Victory”.

On July 10, the patriotic relay race will continue with the creative presentation competition “Raising Patriots”, and the day will end with an educational excursion program with a visit to the Memorial Church in honor of All Saints and in memory of the victims who served to save our Fatherland.

The winners and prize-winners will receive memorable gifts and diplomas from the Ministry of Education. Other finalists will receive vacation certificates to the National Educational and Health Center “Zubrenok” valid for one of its 2025/2026 academic year shifts.
