On behalf of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus and on my behalf, please accept sincere congratulations on the national holiday – People’s Unity Day!

We, Belarusians, live as a strong, friendly and peaceful family in a strong and independent Belarus with a centuries-old history and rich national traditions, united in our desire to protect the heroic heritage, our sovereign right to choose our historical path.

Today is more than a holiday. The date of September 17 has a special deep meaning. The unity of views, opinions, positions, values is a kind of construction that will allow us to survive as a nation in the conditions of an unstable global world and preserve the state.

Educating patriots, preserving historical memory, developing national self-awareness in young Belarusians, and the ability to trace the connection between history and modernity will always be a priority for the national education system. We bear the highest responsibility for the strength, indivisibility, progressive development of the country.
