
Republican Institute of Professional Education celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. In this regard, from October 12 to 13, the National Library hosts a scientific and practical conference “Vocational education in terms of global challenges”.
The event was organized jointly by the Ministry of Education and RIPO. The conference welcomes more than 200 various participants. Among them are scientists, teaching staff, heads of educational authorities, leading experts in the field of secondary vocational education, representing the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Russia from more than 16 regions, the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Tajikistan.
The event is dedicated to the consideration of current issues and trends in personnel training for the socio-economic complex of the state, modernization of technologies and content of education, its scientific and methodological support, as well as discussion of the prospects for the development of the theory and practice of vocational education on the international circuit.
During the conference, it is planned to discuss new forms of interaction between educational institutions and the real sector of the economy for the development of professional competencies of workers, problems of modernizing the vocational education system in modern conditions, and directions for developing the professional competencies of teaching staff.
Participants will share their knowledge of effective integration of manufacture, science and vocational education, they will discuss updating the content of career guidance for students and the introduction of variable career growth strategies, and will consider the implementation of new approaches to teaching students with special needs.
Other issues on the conference agenda include methodological support for educational work in the context of modern challenges, the use of digital technologies in vocational education, expanding the availability of vocational education for various categories of students (including adults). It also includes introduction of digital platforms for distance learning, continuous training of teaching staff for vocational education systems, quality assurance and improving the image of vocational education.
