Molodechno, 11 October – At the “Not-boring not-lecture” meeting that was held as part of the nationwide social and cultural campaign Marathon of Unity, students of Molodechno Polytechnic College had the opportunity to talk with Deputy Education Minister Yekaterina Petrutskaya. The young people discussed choices that have to be made throughout life.
“Before our meeting, I talked to your teachers and I would like to note that I admire them. Like them, I love my profession that I chose more than 30 years ago. I love people and I love you very much. And I promise you that our lecture today will not be boring,” said Yekaterina Petrutskaya.
Making choices was the key topic of the meeting that was held in a dialogue format. “We should be able to understand what impact our choices will make on our lives. It is even more important to keep in mind that this is your choice and you are responsible for it. After all, we have to make choices every day throughout our lives. We choose friends, a life partner, a profession, a country and its future,” the deputy minister noted. The students shared their views on the topic of choice, emphasizing that it is very important to stay true to yourself, your dreams, to shoot for the stars and achieve professional heights.
The “Not-boring not-lecture” meetings together with the Marathon of Unity will travel across the cities of Belarus and invite students from various educational institutions to dialogue.
