On February 18, the Ministry of Education of Belarus adopted Resolution No. 46 “On Establishing the Lists of International Olympiads, Academic Subjects, and Professional Skills Competitions in 2026.”

Key Provisions:

* International Olympiads. A list of 19 events has been approved. Winners with first, second, and third-place diplomas are admitted:

— to higher education institutions without entrance examinations;

— to secondary vocational education institutions without competition.

* Republican School Olympiad. Winners of the third (regional and Minsk city) round in 20 subjects (Belarusian and Russian languages ​​and literatures, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, history of Belarus in the context of world history, etc.) are eligible for admission to higher education institutions without entrance examinations.

* Professional Skills Competition. Winners of the VI Republican Professional Skills Competition (first, second, or third-place diplomas) receive preferential admission:

— to higher education institutions without entrance examinations in the field corresponding to the competition category (competency);

— to secondary vocational education institutions without competition for specialties corresponding to the competition profile.

This resolution shall enter into force upon its official publication.
