Please accept my most sincere congratulations on the Fatherland Defenders Day!

This significant day unites all those who cherish the fate of our country and who work for the benefit of a worthy future for Belarus. The date of February 23 is rightfully a symbol of the courage and heroism of the Belarusian people. Today we honor the true patriots of our country - those who served and who currently serve in the Armed Forces, law enforcement agencies, thus protecting the national interests of the state and every minute of our peaceful life.

Thanks to the wise policy of our President, such values as sovereignty and independence, security, peace in our native land, well-being, preservation of historical truth and memory have become absolute and one of the main achievements of Belarus as well.

Our children and youth - members of patriotic clubs, student and search teams, and schoolchildren have someone to look up to. I am confident that in the five-year term of quality, the young generation of Belarusians will continue to contribute to the future of Belarus with their intelligence and labor on our native land.
