February 9, an interactive exhibition of professions “Quality of Education. Quality of personnel. Quality of the future," Begun today on the grounds of the Baranovichi Ice Arena.

The exhibition is attended by students of grades 10-11 from general secondary education institutions of Baranovichi town, Baranovichy, Lyakhovichi, Gantsevichi and Ivatsevichi districts, about 1,200 people in total, as well as enterprises that order personnel and other interested parties.

The interactive exhibition is presented in two parts. The first part “Raising Defenders of the Fatherland” is represented by military and security structural units of the city of Baranovichi.

The second part “Peaceful professions for peaceful people” is presented by enterprises of the engineering industry; light industry; Food Industry; transport enterprises; construction industry; public utilities; aviation industry.

It also contains presentation platforms for institutions of higher, secondary specialized and vocational education, including: Baranovichi State University; Baranovichi State College of Mechanical Engineering; Baranovichi State College of Builders; Baranovichi State College of Technology and Design; Baranovichi State College of Light Industry; Baranovichi Technological College; Lyakhovichi Agrarian College; Novomyshsk State Agrarian College.

Current thematic information is provided by institutions of general secondary and additional education, such as the State Institution "Secondary School No. 1 of Baranovichi" and the State Institution "Palace of Children's Creativity".

It is worth noting that in order to resolve the issues of personnel shortage by the Education Department of the Baranovichi City Executive Committee in 2022 – 2023, 8 fairs of targeted training “Valuing a person”. Be proud of your profession. Love Belarus”, took place and attended by more than 6,000 students in grades 9-11 and their legal representatives.

Personnel contracting organizations took part in the Fairs, and this made it possible to significantly increase the number of applications for targeted places in institutions of higher, secondary specialized and vocational education (for reference: in 2022, 18 students were admitted in the targeted area, and in 2023 – 135 students).

In this regard, this academic year the Education Department of the Baranovichi City Executive Committee proposed a new form of holding the fair - an interactive exhibition of professions “Quality of Education. Quality of personnel. Quality of the future."

During the exhibition, would be applicants will be able to receive a lot of useful information on choosing a profession, admission and targeted training, watch thematic presentations, and learn about the professions for which future specialists are trained.
