For more than a quarter of a century, the “Our Children” campaign, initiated by the President, has been visiting hospitals, boarding homes, family-type homes, guardianship and foster families, correctional and developmental education and rehabilitation centers. The state made sure that on the eve of the New Year and Christmas every child felt the holiday atmosphere, warmth and support.

The campaign has become a real brand, because this is our Belarusian tradition - helping each other. The marathon of good deeds takes place throughout the month in all corners of Belarus, this year from December 15 to January 15. The elderly will not be left without attention. For them, the campaign is “With all my heart.”

In total, the campaign will reach 1 million children. Among them are children left without parental care, disabled children, as well as winners of republican and regional competitions, sports competitions, and various events. Students and pupils who have achieved certain success in their studies and social work are involved.

Traditionally, republican government bodies, state organizations subordinate to the Government of the Republic of Belarus, concerns, banks, public associations and other legal entities take part in the “Our Children” campaign.

More than 130 organizations have already confirmed their participation in such a significant charity event.
Regional New Year holidays will be organized with the participation of the heads of regional executive committees and the Minsk City Executive Committee.

The festive program for the children will be eventful. Thus, in the capital today, for the first time, an ice show will be shown for 2 thousand schoolchildren at the Minsk Arena skating stadium. By the way, this year the motivated guys received more than 120 diplomas at Olympiads and were leaders in research competitions.

On December 26, the best high school students of Minsk schools and gymnasiums will attend for a traditional city ball at the Palace of Children and Youth, and on December 29, the Belarusian State Circus will host a theatrical New Year's performance for active students who have achieved the greatest success in studies, sports, creativity, and social life. In addition, New Year's parties will be held in every educational institution - kindergartens, colleges, schools.

Every year, on the eve of the New Year holidays, the Palace of the Republic turns on its brightest lights. So, from December 23, 2023 to January 4, 2024, the Palace of the Republic presents the most fantastic New Year’s fairy tale on the “Glavnaya yolka strany” with the magical name “New Year’s Time Machine.”

Almost 2.5 thousand children aged 8-14 years were invited to the “Glavnaya yolka strany”.

On December 28, the traditional Republican New Year's ball will take place at the Palace of Independence. It will unite 350 representatives of students from all regions of the country.

As part of the “Our Children” campaign, funds will be raised, which will then be used for the diagnosis and treatment of children with neuroblastoma.
