Minsk, August 8. BRSM hosts its 3rd Republican educational workshop.
This time the workshop is welcoming more than 280 listeners: BRSM full-time employees, territorial committee secretaries, provosts on educational work representing their respective universities as well as activists who are current members of personnel reserve of youth union from all regions of the country.
Among the invited speakers are representatives of the Presidential Administration, the Ministry of Education, the Council of the Republic, the House of Representatives, the Minsk City Executive Committee, and the Central Electoral Commission.
During the plenary session, the First Secretary of the BRSM Central Committee Alexander Lukyanov noted that starting in 2023, an effective practice has been established to hold educational platforms every six months. They are aimed primarily at the younger generation and newly elected secretaries, so that there is not only an opportunity to gain knowledge and the necessary methodological training but also to form direct connections with the respective secretaries and leaders of different levels.
“The strength of any organization is not only in its bright leaders, but also in the ability to understand that we all work in one big team,” Alexander Lukyanov is convinced.
At the plenary session, experts representing education, media, public administration fields took on the floor. They shared their experience and outside perspective on working in the youth environment, gave valuable advice and recommendations.
Over the course of two days, the participants will consider issues of improving the quality of work with young people, implementing educational and social programs, and forming a civil society based on patriotic and spiritual-moral values.
The topics discussed include compliance with labor legislation and focus on civil-patriotic direction.
The eventful program includes an introduction to the work of BRSM primary organizations at the Atlant plant, the Minsk National Airport, Minsktrans, Belkommunmash, MZKT, Kommunarka, a work union on the territory of the Minsk DOSAAF flying club named after twice Hero of the Soviet Union Sergei Ivanovich Gritsevets, and to the work of educational sections.
“Our main task is to show large enterprises in each district of Minsk so that we can share the experience of primary organizations and what kind of support young people receive. Today, such flagships as the Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant, the Atlant plant, and others are the industrial giants that have expressed a desire to employ our guys and share their work experience. We also tried to select enterprises where our student teams are currently working, so that there would be an opportunity to communicate with the fighters of this glorious movement. In general, within the framework of the dialogue between all regions and our city organization, we hope to exchange useful experience,” said the first secretary of the Minsk city organization of BRSM Roman Bondaruk.
The program also has a familiarization tour of the National Olympic Stadium “Dynamo” and a Spartakiad among full-time employees of BRSM.
