Today, in the capital's gymnasium No. 41 named after V. Serebryany, the final collegium on education of the Minsk City Executive Committee was held.
The collegium was attended by: Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Andrei Ivanets, Deputy Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Artem Tsuran, employees of the Education Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee, the Minsk city organization of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers, heads of administrations, heads of education departments, heads of educational institutions, teachers of the capital.
Teachers discussed activity of the metropolitan education system, results of socio-economic development of the field and planned perspective directions in current year.
Minister of Education Andrei Ivanets informed that Belarusian schools will implement a second element of school form in the following academic year. A common element of school uniform was introduced last year. Today school students gladly wear the uniform and their school emblem. This standard is a must for every institution of general secondary education. The ministry believes that will add a second element to their uniform. This will lead to a certain sameness and understanding between parents and kids that they belong to a particular school.
Schools are free to choose a second element to be worn by students, as Ministry sets no boundaries and limits. Parents must discuss this issue with teachers.
First Deputy Chairman of the Education Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee Lyudmila Borisenko noted that approaches to patriotic education in educational institutions have been significantly revised.
By the end of 2023, each school and gymnasium will open its own museums and expositions. Today, there are 116 first ones.
The development of a network of patriotic clubs will also continue. The clubs were established in every district of the capital. There are already 14 of them, and on March 13 another one will be opened - in secondary school No. 56.
According to Lyudmila Borisenko, a large-scale meeting of students of military-patriotic classes will be held in the spring.
During the collegium, the best schools, gymnasiums and kindergartens of the city received recognition and the best teachers of Minsk took the deserved awards.
