Today is the graduation day for schoolchildren. This year, more than 55 thousand young people graduated from 11th grade. They’ve already passed through CT and CE.
It seems as if they were first graders just yesterday but this very evening will be presented with certificates of general secondary education in a solemn atmosphere. The best graduates will receive a special type certificate and will be awarded gold or silver medals. Teachers and parents will congratulate their children. Entertainment programs cannot be skipped as well.
Deputy Minister of Education Alexander Kadlubay emphasizes the importance of the event: “A prom in educational institutions is a significant, large-scale, emotional and touching event that has special significance in the life of every graduate, his parents and teachers. We traditionally suggest celebrating this event in schools, cultural institutions or additional education ones for children and youth. The creative potential of the teaching staff makes it possible to hold a graduation party without third-party organizers. Each institution develops its own scenario and it must have educational content.”
It was noted that no one prohibits the use of new formats along with traditional ones.
Consultant of the Main Directorate of Educational Work and Youth Policy of the Ministry of Education Tatyana Osmolovskaya draws attention to the fact that the types of proms are absolutely varied: school parties, traditional talent competitions, presentations of films of past school years. The award ceremony remains an interesting format, when graduates are presented with various awards for victories in nominations, and class teachers, subject teachers, primary school teachers, everyone who has taken part in the life of graduates for 11 years will hear words of thanks. Commemorative actions in the form of laying an alley or a memory capsule for graduates of future years will allow us to emphasize the connection between graduates and the school and generations of other graduates.
Prom scripts this year contain a patriotic theme dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Republic of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.
Now, everyone has to choose their own future path - the educational institution one will enter. It is expected that 50,600 purposeful and motivated young people will become students of higher educational institutions, of which 31,200 will be admitted to the budget form of education and 19,400 to the paid form of education.
From June 15 to August 23, it is possible to apply for vocational and technical education. It is planned that 39 thousand applicants will be admitted to colleges. We wish all graduates to bring into life their dreams! Good luck!
