Is it a sailboat floating on Svisloch? It certainly is and it means tonight is the night for the National holiday of graduates of higher education institutions.
Nowadays, the holiday is not just a graduation day but a fabulous tradition. It is very symbolic that it is held annually on the eves of Youth Day and Independence Day - the main holiday of the country.
Tonight, about 3 thousand young men and women who have achieved particular success in their studies, creativity, sports, scientific and social activities were invited as guests.
Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Ekaterina Petrutskaya said that about 2 thousand graduates are of Minsk and 1 thousand of the regions.
The holiday starts at 10 p.m.
It was noted that the organizing committee did their best to prepare the bal. In order for young people to feel comfortable, the student village dormitories open the doors for an overnight stay and meals will be offered as well.
“The holiday will be held under the slogan “Sails of Dreams” as a symbol of the fact that the treasured diplomas of university graduates will allow young people to realize their dreams, become true specialists and succeed in their profession. I am sure that our best university graduates invited to the celebration will enjoy the program prepared by the organizers,” the Deputy Minister of Education is convinced.
The celebration program is full of surprises. The guys will enjoy a disco, performances by artists and DJs, in short, the organizers have provided everything to give all participants a great mood.
The culmination of the holiday will be the appearance of a sailboat with scarlet sails. During the holiday, the emphasis will be on the achievements of Belarusian youth and the country as a whole.
The holiday program also includes congratulations to the children on behalf of the distinguished guests. The event will end at 1 a.m.
By the way, Youth Week is successfully going on in Belarus and the Republican holiday of university graduates will be a nice end to a series of thematic events dedicated to active and purposeful youth.
“This shows the close attention Belarus pays to young people, their development and the possibility of self-realization in a variety of areas,” emphasized Ekaterina Petrutskaya.
Today's university graduates are tomorrow's young professionals. The state guarantees every young specialist a first job. As young specialists, they will have a number of benefits, including corresponding wage preferences – an increase from 10% to 20% depending on the institution.
A number of aspects are also related to social support - this is the possibility of providing rental housing and hostels for nonresidents who come as young professionals and get a job. In this status, they have the priority right to receive rental housing or hostel accommodation.
We wish our graduates professional growth and good luck in all you do! The night is yours!
