Education Ministry summed up the results of separate projects of scientific and research work competition presented by subordinate state scientific organizations.

As a result, 28 projects gained financial support for 2025-26 years.

Young scientists gain special attention. Education Ministry continues to actively support the scientific potential of the new generation. 16 out of 28 financed projects will be implemented by scientists under 35 years of age. This fact verifies the high level of readiness of young researchers and their ability to solve complex interdisciplinary tasks.

The projects comprise key directions of the scientific and technic development of Belarus:

Information technologies and cybersecurity: development of neural network algorithms for analyzing aerospace data, methods for entropy analysis of randomness sources, tools for identifying vulnerabilities in information security systems and blocking ransomware.

Materials science and chemical sciences: creation of functional composite materials for space technology, polyfunctional iron-containing materials for water purification, new elastomer compositions based on natural raw materials, as well as materials with strong structural coloring.

Biological and environmental sciences: study of natural pheromones of pests for environmental monitoring, development of biological water purification systems, justification of the use of biomarkers for assessing water pollution.

Mechanical engineering and advanced technologies: development of high-speed cutting tools using 3D printing, methods for hardening tooling using plasma and glow discharge, methods for increasing the strength of metal cord for car tires.

Pedagogy and social sciences: integration of AI tools into the process of teacher training, development of a program for monitoring the situation of orphans, formation of an economic culture of students, creation of interactive educational materials on art and labor training.

Project funding is aimed at solving fundamental and applied problems, developing scientific schools, creating world-class science-intensive and innovative products, as well as strengthening the scientific and technological sovereignty of Belarus.
