Education Ministry and the Belarusian Work Union of Education and Science Workers signed cooperation agreement until 2028
The document defines the main areas of regulation of social and labor relations, it establishes general principles for the implementation of a coordinated socio-economic policy in the education and science system. This will ensure decent working conditions and social guarantees. As Minister of Education Andrey Ivanets emphasized, the main provisions of the agreement in the largest industry organization in the country concern everyone - teachers, faculty, young specialists.
Now in details. In particular, the aim is to raise the status of workers in the industry by increasing the contract premium, as well as additional measures to stimulate labor. For example, incentive leave in the maximum amount (5 days) for workers whose labor leave is 24 days.
In addition, the provisions on establishing a guarantee of employment of workers have been strengthened. Thus, the list of circumstances under which the employer, at the request of the employee, can early terminate the contract, the employment agreement, has been expanded. There are also measures that provide guarantees for workers who participate in official sports events, aimed at moral and material incentives for high achievements within the framework of the five-year quality plan.
