Dear representatives of science community of the country, scientists, postgraduates, students, young researchers!
Dear friends!
May I sincerely extend congratulations on professional holiday – Belarusian science day!
Science is the basis of state, sovereignty and future of our country. As President Alexander Lukashenko noted during the briefing on development of science field: “You want to live in a sovereign and independent country. A country cannot exist without science! This is impossible. Today is the moment when science is of utmost importance”.
Belarusian scientists are confidently working in priority areas—from materials science and information technology to biotechnology and space exploration—making a significant contribution to the development of the economy, healthcare, agriculture, and education.
Young talents gain close attention. Thanks to a system of incentives and student engagement in research, Belarusian science is developing a worthy successor based on the principle of intergenerational continuity.
I wish you good health, prosperity, boundless energy, and new scientific discoveries for the benefit of the Republic of Belarus!
Sincerely,
Education Minister A.I. Ivanets
