Dear friends!

On behalf of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, please take the most sincere and warm congratulations on the significant anniversary events - the 105th anniversary of the formation of the All-Union Leninist Communist Youth Union and the 60th anniversary of the student brigade movement!

The largest and most mobile organization of the Youth Union in those years united tens of millions of active and purposeful young men and women.

Komsomol members have always been at the forefront in eliminating illiteracy, at construction sites of the first five-year plans, in the underground and partisan movement, they were the first to go into battle and acted fearlessly, bringing the Great Victory closer.

With youthful enthusiasm and dedication, young people restored their native country, developed virgin lands, and became the vanguard of many creative endeavors.

As part of the celebration of the 105th anniversary of the Komsomol, we are celebrating another significant date - the 60th anniversary of the student brigade movement. Many generations of Komsomol members went through its fateful school and made a personal contribution to solving key national problems.

And today, Komsomol traditions, the wonderful qualities of the youth of those times - love for the Motherland, patriotism, collectivism and mutual understanding, faith in the victory of good and justice live and are preserved by the current generation of boys and girls. This preservation of historical continuity is a great merit of our respected Komsomol veterans!

The glorious chronicle of the Komsomol is continued by the Belarusian Republican Youth Union - a powerful force and support of the state. With their active participation in the life of society, vibrant mass actions and labor achievements, members of a close-knit youth organization make a significant contribution to the political stability and economic well-being of our country.

I am sure that the anniversary dates will become a new stage in the history of the development of the youth movement.

I wish you good health, prosperity, inexhaustible energy, creative success, bright discoveries and victories for the benefit of the Republic of Belarus.
