Minsk, 7 April. Education Ministry has determined conditions for enrolling Russian citizens in Belarusian universities without entry tests. They determined the list of majors, the list of specialized tests in the form of the Unified State Exam passed in Russia, and the number of places for full-time (daytime) education at the expense of the republican budget. This is provided for by the Decree of the Ministry of Education No.55 of 26 March, 2025.
The first subject of specialized tests in the form of the Unified State Exam to be passed in Russia either can be: literature, mathematics, a foreign language, social science, chemistry, geography, physics. Accordingly, the second is history and all of the above.
In total, the list has 131 majors. Among them are “special and inclusive education”, “micro- and nanoelectronics”, “unmanned aircraft systems”, “artificial intelligence”, “cybersecurity” etc.
There are 863 state-financed places for Russians entering Belarusian universities for economically in-demand specialties based on the results of the Unified State Exam. The figure is similar to the one in 2024.
The largest number of places (35) is for "veterinary medicine" at the Vitebsk Order of the Badge of Honor State Academy of Veterinary Medicine. 20 quota places for Russians are provided for the specialty "production of plant products" at the Belarusian State Agricultural Academy.
The decree shall come into force after its official publication.
