
Nizhny Novgorod hosted a solemn opening ceremony of the First championship of high-tech technologies final. The championship is due to take place until September 21.
Today is the first Championship day that is a part of the All-Russian championship movement “Professionals”. This championship takes place on the grounds of the scientific and technological center “Intellectual electronics – Valdai”. Many countries take part in the competition. There are participants from India, Ghana, Azerbaijan, Syria etc. In total 170 participants are fighting for victory.
College students and schoolchildren will work on projects in eight competencies for three days, including: “Neural networks and big data”, “Technologies for the development of cities and territories”, “Flying robotics”, “Geospatial digital engineering”, “Biochemical technologies and modeling” processes”, “Organization and management of Electrooculography (EOG) projects”, “Bioprosthetics”, “Manufacture of individual implants”.
On the starting day of the competition, participants, including competitors from the Republic of Belarus who represent the Belarusian National Technical University, the branch of BNTU Minsk State College of Architecture and Civil Engineering and the educational institution National Children's Technopark began to complete the first modules of the three-day task.
Everyone is working for quality because judging criteria are strict even though contestants face a time restriction.
Also today, the business program of the Championship started. The program included a plenary session on the topic “The All-Russian Championship Movement as a tool for integrating the secondary vocational education system and high-tech sectors of the economy” and a panel discussion on the topic “An open conversation about the future of secondary vocational education in Russia.”
The participants have days of persistent struggle and new achievements ahead. May the best man win! We wish good luck to our Belarusian team!
