Belarusian schools accepting documents for first grades
The deadline for submitting the documents for enrollment in the first classes of institutions of general secondary education of children living in the school neighborhood is August 15. If there are free places for enrolling first-graders who do not live in the school neighborhood, the term is from August 16 to 28.
A child who has reached the age of six at the beginning of the school year will be admitted to the school. At the request of one of the legal representatives of the first grader, they can be enrolled at a later age. Also, at the request of the parent and if there is a decision of the pedagogical council, a five-year-old can also get into the 1st grade, but on the condition that he turns six in the current calendar year.
Parents of a future first-grader must submit to the school an application addressed to the director, a child's birth certificate, a health certificate, and the conclusion of the Center for Correctional Development Training and Rehabilitation on the training program (if any).
Enrollment of students in the 1st grade is until August 31.
