April 17, a single information hour will be held in all educational institutions of Belarus within the framework of the “School of Active Citizen” project. Students will be asked to discuss the topic “My Motherland Belarus in Persons. Results. The VII Belarusian People’s Congress is the main political event of the year.”

As part of the project this academic year, schoolchildren have already met with representatives of government bodies, law enforcement agencies, and figures of Belarusian science, culture and art. The meetings with Belarusians, who make a significant contribution to the development of industry, agriculture, education, healthcare, and sports, were very informative. As a result of the dialogue, an online album webpage “Our Countrymen” was created.

At the final information session on May 17, the children will again be asked to reflect on what is inherent to Belarusians, namely, painstaking and conscientious work, love for their work and the Motherland, and moral ideals. It is expected that delegates of the VII Belarusian People’s Congress will join this conversation. They will tell about their activities using real-life examples. For example, about what their responsibilities are, about new functions and powers. Together they will discuss the strategic development of the country.

With the help of the interactive quiz “We will find out”, the younger generation will not only answer the proposed questions, but also talk about their idea of the constitutional status of the Supreme National Assembly, the Concept of National Security and Military Doctrine and the meaning of the motto of the people’s assembly “Time has chosen us!”

In addition, the participants will discuss who of the invited fellow countrymen left more impressions, whether it influenced the professional self-determination of schoolchildren, what conclusions they were able to draw for themselves and what is necessary to become a worthy citizen of their country. In an era of global change, when liars are trying to rewrite history and erase the truth from memory, understanding true values and meanings comes to the fore. That is why the dialogue between generations in our country does not stop even for a day.
