“Belarus Intellectual” is an exhibition of scientific and technical achievements and it is now open for visitors in Mogilev.

It is possible to visit a sport complex “Olympiets” and see cutting-edge developments, scientific achievements and import-substitution goods. Also Mogilev Region universities and enterprises are entitled to present their innovations.

The exposition is arranged in a cluster principle, i.e. unification and logic connection between large thematic blocks that are developing in Belarus and are the most urgent now.

Ministerial educational institutions of higher education exhibit their developments in the frames of a “Space of youth initiatives” cluster. These developments were created by young scientists, graduate students, who study independently or as part of research teams.

The list of exhibits includes about 50 items in the following thematic areas: information technology, space, robotics; developments for industry; pharmacy, health care, medicine; biotechnology and materials; agro-industrial complex, food; emergency protection; patriotic education.

The following exhibits are of particular interest at the exhibition: 1. An engineering model of an electromechanical orientation module for ultra-small spacecraft. University nanosatellite; 2. Sizing additive preamidin D is a unique lubricant component, without which it is impossible to produce glass fiber of the required quality. It is an import substitution product and it is used as a lubricant in the production of glass fiber at JSC Polotsk-Steklovolokno as a cationic lubricant that provides the required coefficient of friction, gives softness and smoothness to the thread; 3. Innovative products for cardiac surgery, traumatology, dentistry, oncology and other areas. With the participation of young scientists, products have been developed that correspond to the best world analogues, and surpass them in some parameters; 4. Heat-resistant ceramic materials for thermal units. They are used for thermal and electrical insulation of furnaces in foundries, thermal and forging shops. They have improved, in comparison with cordierite, mechanical, thermal and electrical properties; 5. Manufacturing technology of packaging biodegradable material (film).

Mogilev region is also represented by participants and winners of the republican youth project “100 ideas for Belarus”, they will represent their personal developments.

When the exhibition started in Minsk, January 20-22, it gathered thousands of people during its three-day work and because of such huge attention, the Head of State decided to launch a regional tour.

Belarusian National Academy of Science is the institution, responsible for the event.

This marvelous event will be open for visitors until February 26. The officials charge no admission fee.
