
October 5, as part of the visit to the Republic of Belarus of the delegation of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, a meeting was held between the Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Andrei Ivanets and the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Rahimjon Hamrokulovich Saidzoda.
The parties noted that cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Tajikistan in the humanitarian sphere is developing dynamically. In the educational sphere, a sufficient regulatory and legal framework for bilateral cooperation has been formed, there are a number of intergovernmental and interdepartmental agreements, and more than 100 direct bilateral agreements have been concluded between educational institutions.
Particular attention is paid to readiness to develop a network of joint faculties; creation and implementation of joint and integrated educational programs according to the 2+2, 3+2, 3+3 system in specialties in demand for the development of the economy of the Republic of Tajikistan; conducting online and off-line courses in Russian and foreign languages for citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan; the opening of a joint remote laboratory of Russian as a foreign language at MSLU in one of the universities of Tajikistan, and it is indicated that the same laboratories can be opened in other languages and the creation of a partnership to develop ideological and educational projects with an emphasis on the preservation of historical memory.
Belarusian and Tajik educational institutions successfully interact within the framework of joint projects and programs. Thus, in the Republic of Tajikistan, five resource centers for vocational education as part of a joint project of the educational institution “Republican Institute of Vocational Education” and the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Employment of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Interns had an opportunity to practice on the grounds of Belarusian universities for representatives of partner institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan (BSPU, Grodno State University named after Y. Kupala, BSAU, BSUIR, MSLU). In turn, students and employees of educational institutions of the Republic of Belarus completed internships in educational institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan (APA, BSTU, MSPU named after I.P. Shamyakin, International Environmental Sakharov Institute of BSU).
Since 2018, on the basis of the Tajik Technical University named after Academician M.S. Osimi, the Center for Belarusian Education, Science and Culture in the Republic of Tajikistan (Dushanbe) has been operating, and since 2019, on the basis of BNTU, the Center for Education, Science and Culture of Tajikistan (Dushanbe) has been operating. Minsk).
As part of the II Forum of University Rectors of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Belarus, the signing of a Joint Action Plan for the implementation of the Cooperation Agreement between the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Tajikistan on cooperation in the field of education for 2023-2026 took place.

Among the important areas is the implementation of academic mobility programs within the framework of cooperation agreements between higher education institutions of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Tajikistan; exchange of educational technologies and teaching methods, pedagogical experience and information; publication of joint collections of scientific works of graduate students and doctoral students, joint publication of articles, publication of scientific manuals and monographs on current problems of education, as well as interaction through the councils of rectors and cooperation in the field of training teachers and educators, including the organization of internships, attracting teachers and leading specialists to give lectures.
The joint action plan also provides for the implementation of joint projects and the holding of international conferences and summer camps.
Events such as the International Academic Week “Belarus-Tajikistan: directions and prospects for the development of university science” and the Student Youth Festival are planned for 2024.
Thus, bilateral cooperation in the field of education and science will continue to develop.
