Andrey Ivanets congratulated the teachers and pupils of Orphanage No. 5 on the upcoming holidays.
He examined the living conditions of the pupils, the material and technical and sports base of the institution. The children invited the Minister to cut a Christmas tree from paper.
Orphanage director Natalia Khursevich told about the establishment. - We have 55 children - 19 girls and 36 boys aged 8 to 17. The majority of the children are social orphans. These are children whose parents have been deprived of parental rights. In addition, among the pupils, 27 have special psychophysical development and 12 are disabled children, - said the director of the orphanage Natalia Khursevich.
The pre-New Year atmosphere filled the establishment. Every day since the beginning of winter, children are excitedly preparing for Christmas and New Year. They decorate the premises, Christmas trees, rehearse the play, learn poems for Father Frost. They are waiting for gifts and the fulfillment of their cherished dreams and adults help them with this.
We always wait for officials with impatience so that they can give what the children lack — attention, communication, smiles and hugs. These are the most expensive gifts for the New Year, — noted N. Khursevich.
How do the children celebrate the most magical night? The same way as the children at home. They make a menu in advance, prepare a New Year's table, which always includes Olivier salad and tangerines.
— We watch TV together and wait for the chimes to strike. The most important desire of any child living in an orphanage is to find a family, — added N. Khursevich.
The children of the orphanage prepared a touching performance about a boy who dreamed of finding friends.
— The "Our Children" campaign is taking place all over the country these days, when we, adults, can not only return to childhood, but also give a piece of ourselves to those children who need care and attention the most. I am grateful to the children for holding a wonderful master class for me. We made a Christmas tree, made a wish. And I would really like for all these children's dreams to come true. The most important thing is for them to have a home, feel parental love, care, be healthy and happy, — said A. Ivanets. — The state creates all the necessary conditions so that those children who are left without parental care feel exactly like at home. We see from the example of this institution that the children have everything for development in sports, creativity, study, for choosing a future profession.
Andrey Ivanets congratulated the children and teachers on the upcoming 2025 and Christmas, presented sweet gifts and a certificate for the purchase of necessary property.
