Education Ministry, 14 April. the Ministry held a presentation of the book "Our President". Representatives of the authors' collective, Alexander Radkov and Alexander Karlyukevich, told how the unique documentary-biographical publication was written, as well as its deep fundamental significance for Belarus.

Education Minister Andrei Ivanets noted: “This book is about the President’s teachings to treat everyone humanely and it does not matter whether it is a teacher, a farmer, a rector, a minister or a big leader, he shows us what we need to think about our country and our future. I think that "Our President" is absolutely interesting and understandable not only for the older generation, but also for young people. For the education system, it is like a bible, because, as our President says, education is the foundation of society, the foundation of the country."

In a conversation with the participants of the meeting, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Honored Scientist of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Radkov said that when creating the book, the authors were guided by the concept of a textbook: “Before you start any such large-scale work, you always think thoroughly about the strategy, about the main idea. When we conceived this work, more than three years ago, we were largely guided by the concept of a textbook. Well, and since you know what a good textbook means, you have a very clear idea of the task we faced. Therefore, the book has three main ideas: the theme of the individual, the theme of the country, and the theme of each of us.”

In turn, the director of the Belarus Publishing House, Chairman of the Writers' Union of Belarus Alexander Karlyukevich emphasized: “The idea was to show the activities of the leader of our country, demonstrating the whole scope of his colossal responsibility and the influence of the decisions made on the fate of society. After all, everything you do has no meaning unless it is finished, unless it works, be it complex, important and significant, it must be finished. So, in order for our work, thoughts and materials that we collected to turn into a final product, we had to build a certain model."

Following the end of the meeting, there was an autograph session and personal communication with the authors of the book.
