A trial event for centralized exam took place on January 28, on a large-scale basis.

Head of the Main Department of General Secondary, Preschool and Special Education of the Ministry of Education Maria Kindirenko at a press conference "Summarizing the results of the rehearsal centralized exam" in the BelTA press center spoke about the intricacies and nuances of the Republican centralized exam and those issues that will be taken into account during the Centralized exam in May 2023.

The results of the conference are as follows. It was decided, that on the examination days, students must gather at school and then follow directly to the examination place whether by public transport, school buses or rented buses under their class teachers supervision. While at school and before their departure, students can eat a “supporting breakfast”. The menu includes tea and a bun or cookies. Students can take this breakfast with them and eat it afterwards.

Speaking about student’s homecoming after the exam, the decision is that there is no need to gather in groups and go back to school, but parents or legal representatives must submit a letter, which will read their permission for a student to come home by his own. Thus, there are no problems to let the child go home alone or accompanied by his parents.

It is also important to take care of a sufficient drinking regime for the child! Every single classroom must have access to water.

The Ministry plans to organize the work of canteens at the exam places. They will begin to serve clients after the beginning of the exam. Many people need refreshments during the exam day so this idea proved itself worthy during the trials.

These and other issues will be taken into account during the centralized exams 2023.
