Minsk, 10 December. Belarusian State Technological University held a reporting and election meeting of the Council of Young Scientists under the Ministry of Education. Following the meeting, Alexey Roginsky was elected as the new Chairman of the Council.

Aleksey Sergeyevich is currently serving as an Associate Professor at the Department of Zoology of the Faculty of Biology at BSU and he is also a PhD candidate in Biology. He previously served successfully as the Council's Academic Secretary. His achievements include a scholarship from the President of the Republic of Belarus, victory at the 24th National Student Research Paper Competition, and an award from the Presidential Special Fund for Social Support of Gifted Pupils and Students.

During the meeting, young scientists also shared experiences in implementing scientific initiatives in Minsk and other regions of the country.
