Igor V. Karpenko- born on April 28, 1964 in Novokuznetsk, Kemerovo region.
He graduated from the Minsk State Pedagogical Institute named after Maxim Gorky, a teacher of history, social studies and English, the Academy of Public Administration under the aegis of the President of the Republic of Belarus, majoring in "international affairs ".
He began his career as a young pioneer leader in a rural secondary school. Served in the ranks of the Armed Forces. He worked as secretary of the Komsomol committee, head of the department, educational work management, pro-rector for educational and social work of the Belarusian State Pedagogical University
named after Maxim Tank.
He was a deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus of the Third and Fourth Convocations. He headed the commission on international affairs and relations of the CIS of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus.
In July 2011, he was appointed deputy chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee.
He was awarded the Appreciation Letter of the President of the Republic of Belarus, the breastplate "Honored Worker of Education of the Republic of Belarus", the medal "For Labor", the Order of Honor, the Certificate of Honor of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus of the Republic of Belarus.
